The Spice Genie (Pty) Ltd operates in the retail and wholesale industry and prepares, packages, and sells spices, lentils, and related food products. Certain products may be resold from third-party suppliers.
All products are subject to availability. - Ordering and delivery
Orders are processed subject to availability and receipt of payment. Processing will occur within five (5) business days, after which delivery will be arranged via our courier partners.
Delivery fees are calculated and charged at checkout. A tracking number will be provided once the order has been dispatched.
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to circumstances beyond our control. - Geographic limitation
The products and services offered on this website are available only to customers within South Africa. - Returns, refunds, and cancellations (CPA-compliant)
5.1 Unavailable products
If a product becomes unavailable after payment, the customer will receive a full refund within thirty (30) days.
5.2 Defective goods
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, customers have the right to return defective goods within six (6) months of delivery. The customer may elect a refund, replacement, or repair, subject to the CPA.
5.3 Cancellations
Cancellations requested by the customer prior to dispatch may be subject to a reasonable administration fee of up to 10%, as permitted under the CPA. No cancellation fee will be charged where prohibited by law.
5.4 Delivery damage
Goods damaged during delivery will be replaced or refunded. Responsibility for such damage will lie with the party responsible, whether The Spice Genie or the courier partner. - Pricing and payment
All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
